Salma Hayek Mulls Marriage

Is Salma Hayek contemplating a trip down the aisle? Hard to believe--after all, it was only two years ago that she declared, "I'll get married when I find a man who has more cojones than I do." Well, it looks like the search is over. Salma says she's so happy with her current beau, ballsy actor Edward Atterton, that they're considering joining Brooke and Andre, David and Téa, and Matthew and Sarah Jessica in the mad rush to the celebrity chapel. "Edward probably is the guy," she told Mr. Showbiz when we spoke with her recently at the Seattle International Film Festival. "He has more cojones." The couple met during the 1996 shoot of TNT's The Hunchback, and have since been virtually inseparable. "We've talked about [marriage]," Hayek said, smiling, "but we'll see what happens." Hayek recently starred in the marriage-on-the-rocks comedy Fools Rush In, and her next film, Breaking Up, is scheduled for a fall release.
