Alfred Molina received a Tony Award nomination and a Drama Desk Award for his performance in Art, which marked his Broadway debut. He also received a Theater World Award and was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Most Outstanding Debut Performance for his role in the Off Broadway production of Molly Sweeney. Other theater credits include the role of Shannon in Night of the Iguana, Fox in David Mamet's Speed the Plow, for which he was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Comedy Performance, both productions for the Royal National Theater, and the role of Zackerman in Serious Money for the Royal Court Theater and The West End.
Molina's feature film credits include "Boogie Nights," for which he won a SAG Award, "The Impostors," "Anna Karenina," "Species," "Maverick," "Prick Up Your Ears," "Dead Man," "Not Without My Daughter" and "Raiders of the Lost Ark." He also stars in the film "Dudley-Do-Right," as the villain, Snidely Whiplash.
