Actress Salma Hayek returned to her native country to film promotional videoclips sponsored
by the state government.
It will show the natural beauties of this region.
The protagonist of the film "Midaq Alley"
had breakfast the morning of this Wednesday with a traditional
coffee of the Parish in the port of Veracruz, accompanied by Miguel Alemán Magnani,
son of the state agenz chief executive Miguel Alemán Velasco, and guarded by security equipment.
Visibly content, the ex- shareholder of the Television Group emphasized that the
visit of Hayek has been the initiative of his father, who is interested in promoting
tourism and the development through investments.
"The Governor looked for that a person from Veracruz that lives outside and that can spread the beauties of
Veracruz to attract tourism and investments which are propitious here. There was noone
better than Salma Hayek ", affirmed Alemán Magnani.
Hayek, that has managed to become successful in the filmic industry of
Hollywood, avoided to grant interviews to the press, because she had not the time
for it. Last night she had supper with the Governor in the City of Xalapa and one hopes
that next Friday she will arrange a press conference before leaving.
